Filmmaker Jesse Hill has created a unofficial video for Beyonce’s recent track Drunk In Love, making the entire thing from emoji icons. It may not sound like much, and it’s a pretty simple concept, but Hill has managed to pull it off so well the video has garnered the attention of TIME, Wired, and the much-despised (and loved) celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Watch above!
Basically someone with LOTS of time to kill…(including myself who watched the full 5 minutes of it!)
Academy Award-nominated composer Alexandre Desplat and Grammy-winning music supervisor Randall Poster’s original soundtrack for Wes Andersonâs latest film The Grand Budapest Hotel is out March 3 via ABKCO. It includes original compositions, traditional Russian folk songs, and performances by the Osipov State Russian Folk Orchestra.
Beyoncé had a pretty manic end to 2013, she released her self-titled fifth album without any warning, complete with visual accompaniments for each track. It was quite tough to take it all in. If you haven’t got round to listening or watching the entire thing, this Soundboard, or ‘Soundboardt’ as Beyoncé would say, has collated all the best phrases from the album into manageable and quite addictive little snippets.
We should all have our own! - although Beyoncé’s will be way better than all of ours!
